Left to Right:  Rex, John, Owen, Raeanne, Hayley, Brad and Kyle

Rex Ng, Director
Rex is the lead pastor of the Vancouver Chinese Pentecostal Church, a multi-generational bilingual church. He has over 20 years of pastoral experience, first in Ontario and, for the past seven years, in Vancouver. As a pastor, Rex thoroughly enjoys making connections with people in and out of the church. His passion is to get to know his neighbours through community events such as the Family Pumpkin Patch and Car Free Day and providing needed services such as Kid City Day Camp. His goal is to create a safe and peaceful environment for children to be in and one that benefits the families.

John Wu, Coordinator
John who was Assistant Coordinator at Kid City last year is returning as this year’s Coordinator. He is currently in his graduating year at the University of British Columbia and will be entering the Faculty of Education in the fall. John comes with much experience working with children, from several years as a summer camp worker and tutor in Hong Kong to being a volunteer at a couple of elementary schools in Vancouver, working in primary classrooms. In John's spare time, he enjoys playing basketball, cycling, and hanging out with his friends and youth group. John is extremely excited to be Coordinator of Kid City this summer. He is definitely looking forward to meeting and getting to know your children!

Owen Kiang, Staff
Owen is the Next Generations Pastor at Vancouver Chinese Pentecostal Church. He graduated last year with a Bachelors degree in youth leadership at Summit Pacific College. His love for Jesus, young people, and the city drives his passion for youth ministry. His hobbies include eating great food and meeting new people! Owen loves teaching and speaking to the emerging generations because they are full of life and creativity. His vision for the future of the city is to see a passionate group of young people ready to serve the kingdom with all their hearts and build a community that wants to discover more of their God together. He believes that "We is better than me" and, in a constantly changing culture, we need to not only know who we are called to be but also know the God who has called us.

Raeanne is a graduate of Vancouver Christian School. She will be taking a gap year in September and then attending the University of British Columbia for Sciences. She hopes to eventually major in Environmental Sciences and save the earth!
